The "Shakedown" Trip

 

We built these really great shelves in the deep pantry. They slant towards the door so that you can lay cans on their side and they'll roll towards the front. Then you don't lose things in the back!  As you can see above, they were way cooler before we bounced on down the road.

Oh well, this is our shakedown trip anyway. So, this is Lesson 1.  We started in Philomath, Oregon at 9am today. We arrived at Rocky Point Campground, Lake Almanor, California at 6:30pm.  We are headed to Utah, by way of Elko, NV, to visit kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews/any other family we can find along the way. 

We should have all the kinks worked out by the time we head north to Alaska.  That's the theory anyway.
