Steamboat Rock State Park, Washington

Steamboat Rock State Park - It is a pretty lake - unusual because of the rocks and cliffs. Not very much shade in the campground but the facilities are kept very clean - flush toilets and hot, pay, showers. There sure are a lot of discounts given in the WA State Parks but I guess we don't qualify for any of them. We drove, from Wenatchee, up through Omak to get to Grand Coulee Dam today. We saw Sasquatch!  Okay, well, it was a sculpture up on a hill amongst the trees. The Columbia River is very impressive. I can't believe how much water comes through here this far upstream! We are still working out our navigation communication system. We'll get the hang of it before too long! What got me in the most trouble today was when Don thought I said there was a Dairy Queen ahead but he never saw one.
