The sun woke us up around 5! Our door was facing sunrise. I couldn't believe what time it was when I got up. So, nothing else to do at this campground besides hit the road. We continued up 23 to Revelstoke and headed east on Hwy 1. We are getting into the Canadian Rockies - lots of snow still on the mountain tops (none on the road) with water falls everywhere! We weren't feeling comfortable with the lack of campgrounds shown on our maps. We knew we had to crack the code on the Alaska Milepost to go any further. So, we stopped at a high priced, ugly little kampground right on the downhill slope of the highway - jake brakes and all. But, hey, we didn't have to pay extra for the showers! So we didn't have to do everything in 6 mintues or less.
