A guided fishing trip out in the ocean is productive!  We went out with Oregon River Trails (www.oregonrivertrails.com). Earlier in the month the plan was to fish for steelhead on the Alsea River. But, as the weather wasn't cooperating and the river got lower, plans changed.  They even caught a few crabs when they put traps out on their way to the fishing spot. A 40"+ lingcod, several types of rockfish and seabass were caught. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the seas were calm.  The guide and first mate made it a trip to remember!
